Summer camp is open to all children and teens, ages 9-16, with type 1 diabetes in the state of Oklahoma. Below are the eligibility requirements each camper must meet at the time of application:

    •  Age 9-16 by June 1, 2018
    • A1C of 12% or less
    • No admissions to ER for DKA in the past 6 months
    • Approval to attend by camper's Pediatric Endocrinologist or Primary Care Physician

Registration for Summer Camp is a two step process:

Step 1: Application

  • Parents/guardians of potential camper will complete a short application for the child they would like to register for camp.
  • That application will be reviewed, and if approved, the camper will be registered for the camp session automatically.

Step 2: Deposit & Health Profile

  • Parents/guardians will receive and email notifying them of their child's acceptance into Summer Camp.
  • Parents/guardians can then log into and pay the $50 deposit and complete their child's Participant Profile.

Please Note: Spots are filled on a first come-first served basis within gender and age groupings. A camper's spot will not be reserved until the $50 deposit has been paid.

The one exception to this is if the camper has received a full camper scholarship, in which case, the camper's spot will not be reserved until the Participant Profile is 100% complete.
